We just returned from the most fabulous time seeing our BJ, Nicole, Andrew and Bennett in Philly. This was a much needed week spending time with them!!! Jordy’s parents joined us and it was non-stop fun the entire week. We visited Ocean City (Jersey Shore), saw all of the cool places in Philly and took the train a few times to New York. Too bad the Jersey Shore cast is filming it Italy… I could have seen my boyfriend Vinny. Ha! ;-) In New York, we went and saw Wicked, ate a John’s Pizza a few times and owned the city… Yes, it rained heavy the entire week, but it didn’t stop us from having fun. We also went to a Phillies game. Their stadium was incredible! They played the Rangers and won. It was a really good game! BJ and Nicole live in the most beautiful area. Nicole is having a baby girl in September and I’m so freaking excited for them. This will be my first niece and I can’t wait to spoil and love on her! It was so great spending time with our family and having sleepovers with my Andrew & Bennett! Thanks BJ and Nicole for letting us stay with you! Love you all sooooo much!!!

Today is such a bitter sweet day for our family! BJ, Nicole and my two boys are moving to Philly. BJ was offered a great job with Wells Fargo. I’m really excited for him, but his new job requires him to live in Philly for a few years. I can’t even tell you how much I am going to miss them and what a change this is going to be for our family. You better believe we will be taking lots of trips to go and visit them. They will live one hour from NYC and two from DC. So fun!! I seriously feel so blessed to be a part of the Neilson family, and even more lucky to love and adore these four so much! Good luck with the move and we can’t wait to see you in April!

Over the past month or so, we have had some fun family and friend weekend trips to some of my most favorites lakes in Utah...

Wade had the brilliant idea of camping at Yuba Lake over the weekend a few weeks ago. This was my first time camping at Yuma and hopefully won’t be the last. Our weekend consisted of eating lots and lots of delicious food, wakeboarding, playing horseshoes and frisbee, dominating Suzy in Uno (ha, sorry Suz), star gazing, chilling on the beach and so enjoying our campfire time while eating Wade’s mouth watering dutch oven cobblers.

Over Labor Day weekend, we went with Jordy’s family to Moon Lake. It’s become a family tradition for us to join Nicole’s darling family for a weekend of fun! All of Jordy’s family saved reading MockingJay for this particular weekend. Yes, it was very hard but so worth the wait. It was so fun to read it all together and discuss all of the fun details as we read. I loved the book and think it ended perfectly. We had such a nice and relaxing weekend!

Over conference weekend, Jordy’s family went to Lake Powell while my family spent the weekend up at Stein Erickson. Jordy and I were in quite the predicament since we both LOVE Powell and Steins. So, Jordy went with his family, while I had a very hot date join me up at Steins (my Jenny-Wenny). We both had such a great time and are so blessed to have such wonderful families!

Lava Hot Springs

We went camping a few weekends ago with my mom’s side of the family to Lava Hot Springs. Holy crap, it was soooo much fun! There is so much to do in this tiny town (in Idaho). The hot springs are so clean and relaxing, they have a fun swimming pool with platform high dives and some scary waterslides and the best river to tube down. We had some huge rainstorms that I loved playing in too. We were tubing the river when a huge storm hit, and yes, it was freezing. It made the hot springs feel even that much better after words. I want to give props to Boo Boo, Jordy, Sara and Ben for going off the 4-5 ft. waterfalls on the river and only having a few bumps, scratches and bruises (Boo and Sara). Russ and I did get stung by a bee on the river and I think it was our punishment for not being brave enough to take on the falls. I wish I had pictures of the river so you can see how much fun it is, but I guess this means you will need to find out for yourself.

One night after dinner we played the funniest game. It’s a eat, drink, wear game. As you can see, our attire definitely turned some heads at our campground. Yes, we are all crazy!

We celebrated my mama bear’s and Boo Boo's birthdays! Happy Birthday to you! Brooke is still wearing her sexy blue eye shadow from our game. Wahoo!

It was so nice to spend such quality time with my family. They are all so much fun to be around. Thanks for all of the good times and laughs! I love you all!

New York - This place will inspire you...

Jordy is such a ROCKSTAR at his work (yes, I’m bragging).  To reward all of his hard work, ACS took us to New York for a long weekend. We went during the first weekend in August. It just so happened that the Yankees were playing the Red Sox this particular weekend, so we were even extra excited about that! When I found out we were going to New York, the first thing that came to my mind was seeing Wicked. We went the night we arrived and it blew my already high expectations away! Seeing Wicked was definitely one of my summer highlights. Another weekend highlight was seeing one of our best friends Tolley. He currently lives in DC and took the long bus ride to come play with us on Saturday. We love our Tolz! Thank you Jordy for such an amazing time in New York and for letting me eat at John's Pizza every day! :-)

Our hotel was incredible (especially for New York). We stayed at the Ritz that is right in Battery Park. You could see Miss Liberty in all her glory from our hotel room.

Over the 4th of July weekend, Wade, Corey, Suz, Jordy & I (my summer crew) went to Vegas to celebrate. We were originally going down to see Kenny Chesney perform at The Joint, but found out tickets were super expensive, so we didn’t go to the concert, but still used the excuse to go to Vegas. Wade and Corey went to the concert, and of course loved it. We stayed at The Trump, which I looovvveeeddd! There is no casino and no smoking at this hotel, so you don’t feel like your dirty and can easily stay a few nights (which we did). I think my abs are still sore from all of the laughing that went on this weekend. Thanks summer crew for one heck of a weekend!

Jordy’s brother Sean returned from his Dallas, Texas mission the end of May. Our family left for Hawaii the following week. It was so nice to be able to spend time with Sean and Jordy’s family. We all had such a blast and played from sunrise to sunset every day. Thanks for such a great week! I am so lucky to married into such a incredible family. I love them all so very much! Can we go back soon!!??

My dear sweet Monica returned to her Heavenly Father peacefully on Monday morning. She battled breast cancer for 19 years and never gave up. Monica will be deeply missed as she made a difference in so many people’s lives. Monica’s love for life and her contagious laugh and smile will forever live in my heart. She always lived life to fullest and her compassion for others was endless. She is a gift to the world and what she did in this life will spread through the years. Her inspiration to me was to love life, be passionate in what you do and always to take time to help others. Her example of how to live and love will reside with me forever. Thank you for leaving such a legacy of love behind. I love you dearly! You are at peace now, my dear friend.

Mexican Rivera Cruise!!!

My family returned a few weeks ago from a Mexican Rivera cruise. Our sweet parents surprised us on Christmas with this trip (yahoo). This was one of the best trips I have been on…

Our first stop was on Cabo San Lucas. I haven’t been there since high school, so I was really excited for this port. We took a water taxi to Lovers Beach where we get our booties kicked in the waves and found ourselves a beautiful secret beach. We had to climb through huge boulders to get there, but it was so worth it! After the beach, we explored downtown Cabo and had the best chips and salsa ever! The second stop was in Mazatlan. We went to a really fun resort and chilled at the pool and beach and our last stop was in Puerto Vallarta. Save the best for last… we went on the best adventure! It started out with being picked up on a zodiac raft (my favorite) and they took us on a fun ride to the other side of PV. We then rode in a huge hummer type truck up this mountain to where the truck could no longer go. We then rode mules tot eh top of this huge mountain. My mule ran the whole way up, it was crazy fun (even though I couldn’t sit for a few days after that ride). Once we reached the top, we went on lots of crazy zip lines through the jungle, rappelled down waterfalls landing in a huge pools of water and had so much fun! If any of you go there, this is a must do! The company we used was Vallarta Adventures (http://www.vallarta-adventures.com/) and did the Outdoor Adventure.

Not only was the cruise a blast, but spending time with my family was the best part!!! I seriously laughed so hard all week that I went home with no voice. Thank you so much Mom and Dad for such a great week full of memories that we will never forget! We love you!

Hawaii

Jordy and I had the greatest time in Hawaii! We loved traveling to all of the different islands on our cruise and were really able to get a good taste and feel of how different they all are.

We decided to go to Oahu a day early so that we could play in Waiki. My darling cousin LeeAnne and her hubby Tyler were on our exact cruise the week before us. We met up with them on Saturday and went to Pearl Harbor and went snorkeling in Hanama Bay. We had such a blast playing with them and were so happy to see them!

Our first stop was in Maui. We were there for two full days and loved every second of it! Our first morning we decided to explore the Road to Hona. I have done this before and was car sick the whole time. This time it was much different (sitting up in the front definitely helps). Maui had a bunch of rain storms day before we arrived so all of the waterfalls were super full and absolutely stunning! We bought the best book that told you were all of the amazing local spots were and hidden waterfalls (Maui Revealed). We stopped by the black sand beach and blowhole and ending up going to the 7 Sacred Pools (thanks Ash for the recommendation). The hike through the thick bamboo forest to the huge waterfall was incredible and I would highly recommend doing this. Make sure to bring mosquito repellant if you do! We had to learn the hard way…

We started off our next day in Maui watching the sun rise up at the Haleakala Crater. It was definitely worth waking up, except for it being freezing!!! After driving down the volcano, we stopped by Iao Valley. We then went to Big Beach (best beach in Maui). The waves were huge and kicked my bootie. Jordy and I swam in the waves all day and the water felt great (especially helped the mosquito bites from itching)! We LOVED Maui and can’t wait to go back someday.

Our next stop was in Hilo (Big Island). We spent the day in Volcano National Park. The park was huge! We saw steam vents, miles of dried lava on once existing roads, Thurston Lava Tube and stopped by Rainbow Falls on our way back to the ship.

The next day our boat stopped in Kona (other side of the Big Island). We booked a zodiac rafting excursion that took us snorkeling and were able to see Hawaii Spinner dolphins. The place that we stopped to snorkel was really pretty and the town of Kona was darling. Our boat went by the active volcano at night and we were able to see the lava enter the ocean. Watching the lava spit up and drizzle into the ocean was such an incredible experience and something we will never forget!

Save the best for last… We woke up Thanksgiving morning in Kauai! We were lucky enough to experience no rain until today. We had many things that we wanted to do and thought we were not able to because of roads being closed from flooding and our Na Pali Coast rafting excursion was cancelled. Well… the rain didn’t stop us from exploring and seeing everything we wanted to. There is nothing more sexy than Hawaiian rain! Jordy and I had such a memorable Thanksgiving and a it will be a day that we will never forget!

Luckily we has two days in Kauai and were able to reschedule our Na Pali rafting excursion. This is what I was looking the most forward to visiting all of Hawaii. Words can’t describe how stunning the Na Pali Cost is! It’s very spiritual experience! Our boat ride was a blast flying over 30 foot swells and watching schools of over 200 dolphins play with you as you ride along. We could have reached out and touched them but would have been fined $250,000 if caught. No Thanks! I definitely want to spend more time in Kauai, hiking the Napoli coast and camping on the beaches.

After our cruise, we spent a few nights on The North Shore of Oahu. The North Shore is my favorite place to stay in Hawaii. We stayed at the Turtle Bay resort and were very impressed! The Tripple Crown Surfing compition was going on while we were there and it was so cool to watch the pro surfers take on the massive waves.! Most of the locals are surfers and are so laid back. We definitely were able to adapt to the life style of the North Shore and loved it! Every day we would swim at Waimea Bay and then go get a Matsumoto shaved ice. All of the other beaches were closed due to the gigantic waves.

The water was freezing at Waimea Falls. The current was crazy strong, but we made it to the fall.

A local photographer took this picture of us at Laie Point at night(we had no clue). She told us as we were walking back to our car and gave Jordy her business card. Jordy contacted her and surprised me with this picture for Christmas. I love it!

Jordy and I had such an amazing time with each other. We feel very lucky and blessed to have each other and all of the wonderful memories of Hawaii!

Babies and Birthday’s!!!

We have had a very exciting couple of days!!!

On Saturday (Nov 14th) we celebrated Vicki’s (Jordy’s mama) Birthday! We had a great night playing with the family! I wasn’t able to get any pictures but we had dinner at Cheesecake Factory and went to a movie! It doesn’t get much better than that! Vicki is seriously the biggest sweetheart! She is so supportive and so much fun to be around! We love you Vicki and hope that you had a wonderful Birthday!

We also received some very exciting news on Saturday (Nov 14th). Our sweet Heather and Jeff had their baby boy Saturday morning. Baby Jack Jack is so dang handsome and has tons of dark hair! But most importantly, 10 fingers and 10 toes! Heather is doing so great and I couldn’t believe how amazing she looks. Seriously, who looks that good after giving birth!!??

Yesterday was such a great day! We received some more exciting baby news… Lindsay and Brody had their baby girls! I am so thrilled for them and they are going to make the best parents!

It was also my Jeffrey Jordan’s big 30th Birthday!!! I have had to hold back the past few years on throwing Jordy any kind of party since he hates being the center of attention, but not this year! I was actually able to pull off a surprise party for him (which is huge for me since it’s so hard for me to keep any surprises from Jordy, I just get too excited)! We got together with some of our closest friends and family for some roller hockey at Classic Skating. I can’t even tell you how hilarious it was seeing some of us try and play!! It was hard enough to skate, let along play hockey. We had such a blast playing and it definitely was a good work out! Hopefully everyone can walk today and don’t have too many bruises.  Happy Birthday to my sweetie and thank you everyone for coming and for supporting Jordy! Jordy and I are so blessed with such incredible family and friends!

Aloha ~ Jordy and I are going to Hawaii over Thanksgiving week. I have been to Oahu and Maui but Jordy hasn’t been to any of the islands, so why not go! Although I feel like the eastern/southern Caribbean is much prettier, I am determined to prove myself wrong! We were planning on going to Kauai but decided to do a Hawaiian cruise that visits all of the islands. This cruise is so cool and is usually really expensive. Since I’m obsessed with planning vacations and shopping rates, I couldn’t pass up this amazing deal! Our cruise stops at the islands and docks where you can just walk off the boat and doesn’t leave for 2 full days/nights. This way we won’t feel rushed and can explore and relax all day and night. After our cruise, we are spending a few nights on the North Shore of Oahu.

Okay… this is where I would love your help… Does anyone have any suggestion(s) on what the “must see’s and do’s” are in Oahu, Maui, Hilo, Kona and Kauai? We only have 2 days and I don’t want to miss anything that we must see. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Happy Anniversary!

I’m now back to the wonderful world of blogging! Jordy and I have had a nice and low key summer. We have spent some time up at my family’s cabin, went to Moon Lake with Jordy’s family, attended some amazing concerts and have chilled with our best friends and family.

Jordy took a guys trip to D.C. this summer to visit Tolley. While Jordy was there, he bought an American flag and is having it hung at the Capital on our Anniversary. It will be mailed to us after. I thought that was a cool surprise and so neat that you can do that!

I wanted to wish my Jordy a very Happy Anniversary! We have been married for three years on Sunday. The best three years of my life!!! I’m so blessed and grateful to have found my eternal companion and someone who makes me laugh everyday! I love you babe!

Jordy and I are headed up to Hotel Park City this weekend to celebrate. I have never stayed there and have heard great things about it. We love being in the mountains, especially during this time of year! I’m so excited to eat at one of our favorite places (Ruth Chris) and relax this weekend with my sexy hubby!

Girl's trip ~ Vegas style!

A few weekends ago, a group of us crazy girls decided to hit up Vegas. Boy… did we ever!!! We stayed in the beautiful Bellagio which I must say was very impressive! We spent our mornings and days sleeping in and chillin’ at the pool. It was very relaxing and the weather was perfect! Friday night we had tickets to see the amazing “0”. Rach was not feeling very well on Friday and after a few minutes into the show, she collapsed. It was so scary as she is 5-6 months pregnant. She was taken away in an ambulance and had to stay the night in the hospital. Thankfully, Rach and her baby boy (wanted to be surprised on the sex of the baby but the nurse blew it) are doing much better and she was able to play with us for the rest of the weekend!

We were definitely night owls in “Sin City”…staying up till almost 5-6am all three nights. We were having so much that we didn’t even realize what time it was! I must say that Linds and Lacey had quite the lady luck while hitting up the casino. I took advantage of Lindsay’s luck and had her play for me. She won me enough cash to buy the swim suit that I have been wanting for a long time. I was soooo excited! Thanks Linds!! Lacey would just sit down at a machine and hit jackpot, it was amazing!

The Rock Star award goes to Lindsay and Rachel!! Lindsay is pregnant with twins and you would have no idea with the way she was playing with us. Rach who had a horrible night **big frown** on Friday, pulled through and stayed on the trip with us. Our weekend wouldn’t have been the same without both of these beauty queens!

Our girl’s weekend was such a blast! We had so many great talks and laughs! I didn’t want it to come to an end! Thanks ladies for one heck of a weekend! Love you all!!!

I was able to meet Makayla Kathleen Jenkins! Ash had Makayla on May 31st and she is such a stunning baby! She is already smiling and has such a darling personality! Her skin is flawless! Ashlie is such a great mommy and I am so excited and happy for her!

I found out that my Heddy (Heather Warner) is having a baby boy! Congrats to Heddy and Jeff!

My little bro Cole graduated from Jordan High School! We are so proud of you and love you very much! Go Beetdiggers!

Jordy and I watched our darling nephews while BJ and Nicole celebrated their 5 year Anniversary. We met up with Jenny and James and went to dinner and headed to Boondocks. We all had a blast (even though I did get soaking wet on the bumper boats)!

This past weekend some of my family and friends went and did the Race for the Cure! We did this in honor of my sweet Monica Bruin! Monica has been like a second mom to me growing up. She lives next door to my parents and is basically a member of our family. Monica has battled breast cancer twice and it has now returned to different places in her body. She has been and continues to be such a fighter. She has also kept such a positive attitude through this trial in her life. Words can’t describe how amazing Monica is and how much I adore and love her!

WOW!! What a night! We have been counting down the days as you are aware and it finally came and sadly passed. We started off the night with a delicious dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. After dinner we made it to the Energy Solutions Arena very early to make sure that we didn’t miss anything and could people watch. It was hilarious seeing everyone just stop in their tracks seeing 5 hot blonds and one sexy brunette wearing the most FABULOUS shirts of the evening (I apologize if I have offended anyone).  The concert kicked off with The Pussy Cat Dolls. They all looked great and we loved their hot outfits. The moment finally came when Britney graced us with her presence floating down in a circus cage. Her dancers were incredible and their costumes were amazing! There was not a moment that went by where she was not either performing, having crazy circus stunts, incredible dancing crews and great Britney highlight shows. Britney put on one heck of a show, very entertaining!!! I just had such a blast dancing with my girls!!! Thanks Jenny for driving and for the delicious car treats and Smart Cookies! I love my Britney B*&%$#@ sooooo much!!!!

We had such an adventures weekend! We hiked to Delicate Arch, 4 wheeled like crazy women on all of the off roads and went to Dead Horse Point. We also had delicious dinners and all snuggled up to watch movies and had yummy treats. We stayed in a three bedroom condo and found ourselves all sleeping in the master bedroom together. It was awesome!

Our Kenny boy just summed up the past week and a half for us! We just returned from the most amazing vacation! Last February, I decided that it’s best time to escape the snow and freezing cold and go to paradise. Well, one year later 10 of us found ourselves at the most beautiful beaches and places in the world. We had such a fun group! Jordy’s brother BJ and his gorgeous wife Nicole came. BJ invited one of his best buddies and his wife, Ryan and Kari and Nicole invited one of her best friends and her boy, Megan and Matt. Last but certainly not least, was Suzy and Ben. Poor Suzy and Ben got the stomach bug, but were still able to join us for most of the fun. It was so hard for me to only choose a few pictures so I have decided to take you through our amazing journey to paradise… I am going to apologize in advance for my extremely long post and pictures with lots of skin showing. I really tried to choose some pictures with the most skin NOT showing but its impossible when you have been living in your swimsuit for the past 11 days…

We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Southern Caribbean. Our ship deported out of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Our 1st stop was in St. Thomas. Jordy’s buddies introduced us to St. Thomas few years ago and this is where we went on our honeymoon (Oh baby). So we knew exactly where we wanted to go and had it timed down to the minute to get a full days worth. We were one of the first peeps off the boat and the last ones back on. We rented our own boat with a captain to Virgin Gorda (a British Virgin Island) and went to The Baths. The Baths is a stellar natural attraction with exotic pools and grottos formed by giant boulders that are scattered across an amazing beach.

We stopped by St. John on our way back to St. Thomas so that we could check back into customs. We had to stop by Cinnamon Bay (another favorite beach of ours). Kenny Chesney and lots of other celebrities have a house right off of Cinnamon Bay. Kenny’s album Be As You Are is all about the Virgin Islands and one of our favorite albums to listen to. During our first trip to St. Thomas with Jordy’s buddies, we had his album on repeat and visited all of the places that he sang about. We are all now huge Kenny Chesney fans! Kenny and our trip to the islands is who and what converted Jordy to country music. Thanks Kenny baby!

Cinnamon Bay

Our 2nd stop was in St. Maarten. We rented 4-wheelers and explored the island. There is a Dutch and French side of this island. We first visited the Dutch side and wanted to check out their airport. Their airport is right next to a beach (or part of a beach I should say). The planes look like that are going to land in the water. They barley clear the cars and peoples heads as they land. The boys should have read the huge warning sign in front of them before being sand blasted as a jet was taking off (boys will be boys). I am actually grateful they didn’t because it was one of the many highlights of our trip. Seeing them being picked up off their feet, running out of their shoes, hearing Ryan scream like a girl and diving in the water with their clothes on from the huge wave of sand. We had to check out the French side so that we could check out the nude beaches that I have heard so much about. To my surprise, there were actually some nice twins and we did see some that we were warned about. Orient beach also had huge waves that we played in. It was so much fun and a work out trying to survive in the waves Ha!

Our 3rd stop was in Antigua. We decided to sleep in this day and to make it more of a relaxing day. After eating delicious pancakes (it was national Pancake Day), we went to a nice beach and chilled. The boys snorkeled and the girls relaxed. Antigua was pretty but not our favorite stop.

Our 4th day was in gorgeous St. Lucia. St. Lucia is a giant rain forest and is so lush and green. They are famous for their bananas and are super delicious (along with their rum punch)! Ha ha! We went and saw their rain forest, gorgeous botanical garden, waterfall, active volcano (stinky), Pitons (2 huge volcanic mountains), and beaches. It was raining on us but felt so good. We missed Suzy and Ben this day due to their stomach flu. 

Our 5th stop was in Barbados! This was my second favorite stop (St. Thomas being my first). Barbados is stunning! We took a glass bottom boat to a turtle bay and swam with turtles. Yes, I made it in the water and didn’t have a panic attack like I did with sting rays on our last cruise. Swimming with the turtles was such a cool experience! They were friendly and you were allowed to touch them. After swimming, we hit up a beach called The Boatyard. We seriously felt like we were on a MTV Spring Break beach. It was packed and had great dancing music playing, ropes swings and water trampolines. We could easily spend a week in Barbados. Next time I’m there, I’m going to Crane Beach (highly recommended by Dave & Jamie) baby!

Our last day on the cruise was a day at sea. It was a very nice and relaxing day. Below are some fun pictures from our delicious dinners and gorgeous sunsets. During our formal nights, the boat provides photographers that take cheesy prom-like pictures. Check out Ben and Suzy’s prom pictures…

The captain of our ship opened the helicopter pad located at the very front of the ship. We were enjoying the sunset and noticed a school of dolphins swimming with our boat. We have a sweet video clip. I will add it to our blog soon. We of course had to have a Titanic moment too…

I would absolutely recommend this cruise to anyone. The service and entertainment was fantastic and our boat was gorgeous!

A week later, it was bye bye to Suzy and Ben (SAD!) and hello to Puerto Rico (we deicide to stay a few extra days in PR since we were already there). We stayed at the La Concha Resort (A Renaissance Hotel). This resort was unbelievable! It is brand new and is decorated very cool and modern (so up my alley). We found out quickly that it is the place to be in PR. We were chillin’ on the beach with Deion Sanders, “Packman” Jones (scary), T.O. (Terrell Owens) and many other Dallas Cowboys. Deion Sanders so was so cool and nice! It was so entertaining seeing all of their hussy and plastic girls they were with. We saw more twins flashed in the lobby of the hotel than we did on a nude beach. There were not many compliments made! Ha ha!

We went to Culebra (an island right by PR) and went to a very pretty beach. Culebra is known for amazing snorkeling and everyone that went loved it. The next day we went to see one of their famous forts. We found it very fascinating and so historic and had to eat and shop in Old San Juan too.

We almost had to camp on a beach in Culebra. Our tour boat oversold going back to PR. Luckily the captain was in a good mood and came back for us. Yahoo!

Our favorite thing that we did in Puerto Rico was the Bioluminescent Bay. We did a kayak tour through Red Mangrove trees and entered a large bay, all under the moonlight. In this bay there are light emitting dinoflagellates that glow when anything touches the water. The mysterious blue-green light is crated by micro-organisms. Fish flash by in dark water (scary fish), and putting your arm in the water is like floating through stardust. It was such a magical experience and so worth all of the mosquito bites. I wish we had a picture of the glowing water. We didn’t have the right kind of camera to catch the light. I guess you need to see it for yourself!

We love you guys and we’re so proud of you doing so well away from your babies. We so missed some of you that we’re going to come and will need to plan another trip. You were definitely in our thoughts! A HUGE thanks to our amazing crew! Thank you so much for the best vacation ever! Smooches to all of you!! Now back to the real world…

Today is my Jenny Wenny’s Birthday! Jenny has been one of my best friends since we met in Mrs. Fisher’s English class in 7th grade. I seriously couldn’t ask for a better friend! She is such a blast to be around and always has you laughing. Jenny is always thinking of others too! I can’t even tell you how many times I have had a surprise left for me. Wither it was a note wishing me good luck before a dance performance with my favorite treat or her delivering delicious sugar cookies to my work or her bringing me Jamba Juice when I’m not feeling well, she has a heart of gold! I could go on and on as all of her friends could! Jenny, I hope that you have the best birthday ever and your Natty Patty loves you very, very much!!!!

CES

Every year Control4 (my work) attends CES (Consumer Electronic Show) in Vegas. It is such a busy and great week for our company. Kenzie (my little sis) is a part-time receptionist at Control4 and she attends some of our trade shows with us. We are all about booth babes! Ha! Jordy and Corey also came down for the weekend. It was a blast to have all of them there. Below are some pictures of our fun, crazy and busy week…

Umm…. Yes, the Adult Entertainment Expo was the same week as CES. It was very entertaining watching the peeps attending the show, I won’t say anymore… Ha!

The next time you are in Vegas and want to escape the Strip, you ABSOLUTELY need to go to Lindo Michoacan for dinner. The food is excellent and very fresh. They also have the cutest Mariachi Band!

Christi (our amazing event coordinator and my girlie) planned such a fun night at PURE in Caesars Palace. She was able to get us a VIP suite and we had some of our top dealers attend. Kenzie just turned 21 and we had to show her what a real club was all about. They played the best music and we danced the night away. My ears are still ringing…

Jordy and I couldn’t have a complete Vegas trip with out eating at the Pink Taco located in the Hard Rock Hotel. It is also a Mexican restaurant and the food is YUMMY! We went with some of Corey’s friends and JJ and Makayla (the most darling couple and work buddies).

After dinner, we went to see Le Reve located in the Wynn. It was such an incredible show. I would highly recommend it!

It was such a fun week, but I am glad to be back home and to sleep in my own bed. Ahhh!

This past weekend we got together at Jenny’s and James’s gorgeous home to celebrate Christmas. We had some of our friends from high school come that I haven’t seen since probably high school. It was great to see them all. Jenny did such a great job hosting the party. We made our own pizza’s that were delicious, had a chocolate fountain, and had the best sugar cookies (my favorite treat). Some of us stayed until late playing the game Rate Your Mate. It was so entertaining to hear everyone’s answers. Jordy and I feel so lucky to have such great friends. Most of us have been best buddies since elementary and middle school. I love all of my girl’s so much and feel so grateful and blessed to have them in my life! Thanks to Jenny and James for such a fun night! We love you guys!

Yahoo!!! My girl is back!!! For those of you who know me well know that I have always been a huge Brittney Spears fan! Yes, I was one of those fans who waited until midnight on December 2nd when her new album was released. I also have to admit that I rocked out to all of her songs that night while giving Jordy a good show. Too bad that Step Brothers was released on DVD that name night and Jordy was more excited about that than my dancing (I guess I don't blame him) ;-).

Brittney is coming to concert on April 14th with the Pussycat Dolls. Tickets went on sale on Saturday. I would strongly recommend seeing her in concert if you haven't already. She is so entertaining and her dancers are incredible! Jenny Wenny, Aly, Meghan, Boo Boo and Kenzie are so in for the best night ever!!! If any of you are going to her concert, please let me know and we should all meet up for dinner or at her concert. XOXO

A little while ago Jenny gave Jordy and me the wonderful opportunity of watching her beautiful twins. I decided to take them to my parent’s house because I think that they are in love with the twins as much as I am. I don’t think my dad took his eyes off them the entire night. We all had so much fun playing house with Cole and Jake. I can’t believe how big they are getting! Cole is rolling all over the place and Jake is now the loud one and he sounds like he says dada. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I love everything about it!!! I am going to take you through our (mainly my) fun Halloween week...

On Monday night I was able to get together with some of my girlies and go see Thriller. Thriller was really good this year. I was so disappointed with the performance last year and I think they made up for it this year. My darling cousin Courtney was in it this year and it was so fun to see her dance. She is a beautiful dancer! I even ran into some of my dad's side of the family. My cute grandma was so scared by the end of the performance. It was so fun to get together for our monthly GNO. I can't wait for next month... Twilight baby!!!

On Wednesday day I met up with my Jenny Wenny at Draper Park for lunch. It was SO good to see her and her boys and her sexy sister Colie. Jenny looks absolutely AMAZING!! I can't believe that she had twins 7 months ago. Crazy! Jenny introduced me to the most delicious sugar cookies (speaking of her looking good... ha ha). You have got to go to Smart Cookie if you are ever in American Fork. Sooo worth every calorie. It was such a beautiful day for the park and always a nice break from the office. Thanks Jenny for the delicious lunch! Love you girl!

On Wednesday night we went to Grandma Bicki's (Vicki) house for our annual Halloween party. Vicki sure knows how to throw a party. Her house is always decorated with so many darling and scary decorations. Andrew and Bennett were so much fun! Andrew was a hot dog and Bennett was his Ketchup (I wish I had a picture). We ate a delicious dinner, made carmel apples while the boys made skeletons for our porches. Thank you so much Vicki for all of the darling decorations and for such a fun night! We love you!!!

On Thursday night my cute mom's side of the family went to the Witchapalooza at Gardner Village. This was our first year going and it was so much fun. You have dinner with a bunch of witches and there is a program after dinner that is darling. They have you up signing and dancing. Kenzie and I led the Congo dance. It was so nice to be able to spend time with my beautiful cousins and aunts. Love them!!!

We dressed up on Halloween at my work and had a fun party. All of the ladies looked sooo hot! My little sis Kenzie works with us and was a ballerina troll. She looked great!

On Friday night Jordy and I went with our friends Meghan and Brandon (witch and Chinese gymnast) and Jenna and Dusty (Pirates) to Asian Star for a delicious dinner. After dinner we met up with some friends and went to Ports. It was such a fun and hilarious night! We were so entertained all night! Yes, we even saw a headless horseman...

Our darling friends Lindsay and Brody had such a witchin Halloween Party on Saturday night! It was so much fun to see everyone all dressed up, especially all of the kiddos. The theme of the party was super heroes. We play games and had delicious food. Lindsay and Bro, thank you so much for such a fun night!

Marco Island, Florida

My amazing and sexy hubby made his company’s Presidents Club and we were able to spend all of last week relaxing in Marco Island, FL (on the company). Heck yeah! We arrived last Monday night and knew that we were going to have bad weather all week with the exception of Tuesday. On Tuesday we drove into Tampa and went to Bush Gardens. We rode on some of the biggest roller coasters ever! Busch Gardens is definitely the best and cleanest amusement part that I have been to. On Wednesday we went to the Everglades and went on an air boat excursion. It ride was so load that we had to wear giant ear plugs. We were able to get sooo close to giant alligators. It was a great and scary experience. The rest of the week was poring sexy rain. We had some delicious dinners and were able to relax. At one of the dinners, they had a cartoonist that drew the funniest picture of us. I had such a great time with Jordy! He had me laughing so hard all week! I am SO proud of you babe and am so lucky to be your wifey!!

Every year during conference weekend, my father’s side of the family makes a trip to the Stein Erikson Lodge. The lodge was amazing as usual, and the scenery this year was absolutely spectacular!!! The weather was very sexy, it was cold, rainy, and even a bit of snow. We all journeyed up there on Friday night, even BJ, Andrew, and Bennet (Jordy’s brother, and nephews) made a brief swimming trip. The weekend consisted of relaxing, swimming, pool football for the fella’s, chilling at the spa for the women (and the womanly men), shopping at the outlets, watching movies, bubble baths, eating at Café, and having conference in the background, while us women caught up on all of our gossip. As usual it was a wonderful weekend, and we can’t wait for next year!

Last Tuesday night So You Think You Can Dance came to SLC. We of course had to go being such huge fans! The night started off with some delicious soup, salad, and breadsticks from Olive Garden. We then drove out to the E Center where the concert was held. The concert was unbelievable! They performed most of their popular dances from the show. They looked so much better in person than on TV. It was definitely worth it and such a fun night!

Jordy and I celebrated our 2 year Anniversary over the weekend (September 20th). It all started on Friday night when Jordy told me to pack an overnight bag right before we were about to leave for a fun event ( he he for those of you who know what our event was). After our event, Jordy took me to Brookside Broiler in Sugar House (one of my favorite restaurants). Dinner was yummy! After dinner we drove up to Park City and ended up staying at the Park City resort right next to the Alpine Slide. The hotel was amazing and we had so much fun in their hot tubs. This hotel has over 7 hot tubs that have water falls that connect them all. Saturday morning we went and got some breakfast and went on a beautiful drive. The leaves are my favorite right now. I love it when there are still green leaves with bright red patches. After our drive we went to the outlets and did some major damage. I usually can never find anything at the outlets and for some reason I loved everything. Darn Guess store!!! Saturday night Jordy surprised me (again) and took me to Ruth's Chris (my most favorite place). Dinner was delicious, even though I always order their chicken and get crap for it. We had such a wonderful weekend together!

I'm married to the greatest man! Jordy makes me so happy! I love him more than words can say! Thanks babe for such an amazing Anniversary!

What a Cabin!!!

This past weekend Wade and Amanda and their darling daughter Kamree Zoll invited us to their INCREDIBLE cabin (or should I say mansion in the woods). We left on Friday and sadly came home on Sunday. We met some great new friends Kade, Kara, and their darling son Daegan. We all had a great time. Friday night we watched our hubby’s (and Kara) almost kill themselves as you can see in the video and just talked and played into the wee hours of the night. Saturday morning we woke up to Amanda cooking the most delicious pancake breakfast. Thanks Amanda! Our hubby’s then discovered a bow and arrow and decided to use Amanda’s hair school head for a target. It was hilarious to see them try to pull back the arrow after a few times. That thing is sooo dang hard to do. Dusty got a little frustrated as you can tell. J We then decided to explore and go on an exciting four wheeler ride while stopping to do some shooting. Ahhh!! Scary, but it ended up being so much fun! The rest of the time was spent watching the awesome Utah game, watching a movie in their unbelievable theater, eating treats and having a great time!

Jordy and his buddy's had a genius idea to tube the Provo Canyon River a few weeks ago. It was so much fun! The journey began when Brandon loaded up all of the tubs in the back of his truck once we reached the canyon. Pete had the biggest tube and they were all strapped down but for some reason his flew off and went rolling down the highway. It was so scary and luckily no cars hit it. Once we got to the river, we were trying to decide on where to start. We tried to get to the highest point so that we could tube for longer. We ended up hiking down the steepest hill and landed on the rail road tracks, just right after the train had passed. It was quite the adventure so far... Meghan and I decided to share a tube so that we could slut it up together in our bikinis (feeling like we needed to rebel with being in Happy Valley). The water was freezing but it was so much fun!! Poor Wade had a few falls and his leg got all cut up and he had a huge bump on his leg (size of a softball) from hitting a rock. But don't worry, he is okay. All in all, we all had such a blast together and I don't think I have ever laughed so hard!!!

Cabin Fun!!

A few weekends ago some of my cousins and aunts on my mamma bear's side of the family got together and decided to spend the night at our cabin. There is this darling diner that just opened up in Oakley where some of us ate before heading up to Thousand Peaks Ranch (where our cabin is). We just hung out all night and ate delicious treats and had girl talk. The next morning we hiked to Yellow Lake and explored. It was so nice to be able to spend time with my mom's side of the family. They are all such sweethearts and we had a blast together!

Some of our bestest friends Lou and Dave were married on July 31st on the sexiest beach on Kauai during sunrise. They returned back to SLC on Saturday and had their wedding dinner on Sunday at Tiburon. Lou and Dave looked so great and happy! Their dinner was amazing! That was my first time eating at Tiburon and their food was delicious!

Lou wore the most fantastic dress for their dinner. I wish I had a picture to show her hot body and the entire dress. Her wedding dress was so perfect for a beach wedding too! Thanks Lou for having us be apart of your dinner and for being such a great friend! Love you

Oh, it's a backyard.

After living in our house for nearly two years, we discovered that the small patch of weeds (now dirt) behind our house is actually considered a backyard. Additionally the HOA wants us to do something to make it look presentable. Having completely ignored the yard (front & back) since moving in, Nat and I finally decided to take a little pride in our yard, and have been working (sort of) to make it more presentable. We had the idea of building a “white trash Stonehenge” with old cars, which the neighbors would no doubt appreciate. We were very dissapointed when the news reported today that a redneck in Hooper, Utah stole our idea.

Once we recovered from our brief moment of depression, we came up with a new game plan for the back yard... a ditch. I began digging the ditch around 4:30 pm. It turns out that our backyard actually turns into hell around 4:30, and the temperature adjusts accordingly. I had prepared myself a nice tall glass of ice water. Unfortunately, my glass of ice water was very good at collecting all the of dust I stirred up. On top of that two wolf spiders found my water and decided to have a pool party in it. I had only been in the back yard (hell) for 30 minutes, my clothes were saturated in sweat, I had a few blisters on my hands, as well as a dirty cup of ice water with spiders swimming in it. Because I did not want to dig the ditch anymore, I decided that all of these things were a sign that I needed to go inside and relax for the night, and that is exactly what I did.

Nat came home shortly after and, after seeing my sweaty pathetic self lying on the floor, promised that she would finish the ditch. My mind immediately began playing the images of Nat swinging the pick and shoveling out the rocky dirt... and I laughed. Nat, being the truly wonderful person she is, did not get mad, but rather found motivation in my doubt. She went upstairs, changed her clothes, grabbed the tools, finished the ditch, and looked ridiculously hot doing it! Do I feel like less of a man because my wife showed me up? Not at all, I think it makes Nat look like more of a man. I love my manly woman! Thanks Babe!

My original intention was to post the picture of Nat working in the backyard. It turned into a very long and absurdly stupid story about how she ended up there. I apologize to everyone who wasted their time reading this.

What a wedding!!!

My sweet Heather married her sweetheart Jeff yesterday. It was such a beautiful day and Heather looked absolutely stunning! They got married up at Log Haven and the weather was perfect! I was so excited to be apart of her special day and walk down the aisle (something I have always wanted to do). Right when preacher announced them husband and wife and they kissed, Heather had tons of doves fly around and they swirled around and flew back to Hogle Zoo. It was amazing! Dinner was fantastic (especially the rolls) and her cake was yummy. For those of you, who know me well; know that wedding cake is my favorite. We then danced the night away! Congrats to Heather and Jeff! Your wedding day was PERFECT!

Last night Aly, Jenny, and I went to Sanctuary Day Spa for a much needed pedicure! It was very relaxing! After, we went to Jason’s Deli (my favorite) for dinner and for some of their delicious ice cream. I had such a great time last night with my girls!

We had Lou's bridal shower a few weeks ago. Lou had some of her closest friends come and even Jessica was there from Arizona and her baby Logan showed up for the last little bit! It was so much fun hanging out with the girls and making yummy Hawaiian drinks. Lou is leaving tomorrow for Kauai. Lou and Dave are getting married on a beautiful beach there on July 31st (her and Dave's 5th anniversary). It's just going to be those two there. So sexy! I am so excited for Lou! Dave is a great guy!

Lola Jayne Bell

Lacey and Zack had their beautiful baby girl on Friday, July 18th at 4:03am. Lola is finally here!! She weighed 7lb, 12oz, and was 20 inches long. She is such a beautiful baby! Lacey and Zach are the best parents and Lacey looks amazing (as always)!

We had Heather's Bachelorette Party on Saturday night and decided to start the party at the hospital. We had shirts made and even one for our little Lola. She just fit right in with us and was one of the girls!

Congrats Lacey and Zack! We love you!!!

Park City fun!

Last weekend we decided to head to Park City for some fun! We first went to dinner at Brookside Broiler (my favorite) with BJ, Nicole, Wade, Tolley, and Tolley's cousin. After dinner we headed up to ride the Alpine Slide. Wade was very brave and rode the slide for his first time! He did awesome! Jordy on the other hand is a crazy man and caught so much air off one of the drops and flipped his sled with him acting as the sled and the sled on top of him. I just see this huge dust cloud and Jordy head peeking up. He is fine; he has raspberry’s all over his body though. Silly boy! Next time we want to try the Coaster. It looks like super fun!

Meet Bennett Jacob Neilson!

Nicole and BJ had their beautiful baby boy on July 15th at 12:01pm. Bennett is such a gorgeous baby! He weighed 6lb 3 oz and it's all in his hands and feet. Check out that foot on BJ's arm. Nicole did such an amazing job and is made for having babies. Her tummy was completely flat right after she had Bennett and she looks fantastic!

Nicole did not want to have Bennett on Andrew's B-Day. We are at Andrew's party and she starts to have contractions. Sure enough, they go to the hospital around 10:30pm. Bennett was ready to enter the world and Nicole was strong enough to hold off until 12:01am. Sooo Close! Happy B-Day to Andrew on the 14th, Bennett on the 15th, and BJ on the 23rd. Nicole is going to be one busy girl in July!

Congrats BJ and Nicole! We love you guys!

It was Andrew's 2nd B-Day on July 14th! I can't believe that it has been two years since my little buddy was born. Some of Andrew's favorite things right now are: Thomas the Train, motorcycles, being outside, saying the word CUTE (making fun of his aunt Nat), and his new baby brother. Nicole and BJ threw an excellent B-Day bash and they had the most amazing cake with almond butter cream frosting. My favorite! We love you Andrew!

Oakley Rodeo

We went to the Oakley Rodeo over the 4th of July weekend. We did a big group date with my sisters and brother and Jordy's bro BJ and his beautiful wife (who is about to have a baby any day in these pictures) Nicole. She looks amazing and is such a trooper! It's a family tradition to go to the Oakley Rodeo each year, and once again, it was a good time! Cowboy Up!

We had such a great 4th of July weekend! We went boating with Jordy's friends at Utah Lake during the morning/afternoon. It definitely was a great time! Thanks Dusty!

We went to the Bees game that night. I love going to the Bees games during the 4th and 24th. Their fireworks are the best!

It also was my Dad's B-Day! Happy B-Day Dad!

Havasupai Falls

My family went to Havasupai Falls last week. It was the most amazing and magical place I have ever been. It is located in the Grand Canyon and is about a 9 hour drive and a 10 mile hike in. It was so worth every darn blister and it was my first hike with a back pack (I think I over packed a bit, my bag weighed 60 pounds, surprise!). There is a large campsite that is right next to the falls. Havasupai is this incredible oasis in the middle of the dessert with crystal clear water. We went down with most of my dad's family and friends. There was a group of 70 people. We had such a blast with our crew! We lived in our suites the entire trip and spent our days swimming, cliff jumping, rope swinging, tubing rivers, exploring (which was my favorite) and vegging out. Each fall has its own uniqueness. I personally think that Havasupai is the prettiest, Navajo reminded me of a waterfall you would find in Hawaii and was super fun, and I had the best time Mooney falls. Mooney was also my favorite to hike to. You went through a rock cave and had to hike down a sheer cliff by holding on the chains and bolts. Did I mention that the water is freezing! You eventually get used to it and it feels good because it's so hot there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that enjoys a good adventure and nature. Yachats, Oregon

Life has been so busy lately and I'm so far behind on what we have been up to. Jordy and I went with his family to the Oregon coast in the middle of May. It was so beautiful there. We rented a beach house and explored the cost all week. You have the best of both worlds there. One side of the coast is lush green forests with amazing hikes and the other is gorgeous beaches with huge waves crashing over ginormous boulders. We wanted to go on a family vacation before Jordy's brother Sean left for his mission and he left a few days after we got home. He is now serving in Dallas, Texas. Another fun thing we did is went to the sand dunes (yes, they also have sand dunes) and went on the best yet scariest buggy ride. It was definitely intense. Jordy and his brothers also went sand boarding at the dunes (it’s just like snowboarding). We had an awesome week and a great time with his family! I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone!!!

Jordy's a graduate!!! Wahoo!! Jordy graduated this semester from the one and only University of Utah studying business finance. It's about damn time! :-) I just wanted to let my sweetie know how proud of him I am. He has been such an amazing student and I have never heard him complain with working and going to school full time. Thank you for being such a fantastic hubby and for always making me laugh. I love you!!

It was my B-Day last week and I had such an amazing day thanks to my friends and family! Jenny and James sent me the most BEAUTIFUL flowers I have ever seen!! The pictures don't even do justice! When I got to work in the morning, I had those flowers and so many thoughtful gifts from my darling co-workers all ready in my cube. My cute friend Leana made me the most orgasmic lemon cake. So sweet of her, it’s an office favorite! I went to lunch that day with my very nice work friends to Market Street. It was yummy! My sweet hubby surprised me that night and took me to Ruth's Chris (my favorite) for dinner, even though I order their chicken. It was such fantastic night!! I was not able to get any pictures at dinner. Bummer! Oh well... Jordy was very generous this year and I got a new couch for my B-Day. Love him!!

I went to dinner last night with Lou, Suzy, and Em at The Olive Garden. Dinner was so good and they surprised me with the most delicious cake. We then went to see "Baby Mama". I loved the movie. It's a must see!!

THANK YOU everyone for being so thoughtful and for your sweet phone calls, emails, and texts!! You sure know how to make a girl feel special! I truly feel so lucky to have such amazing friends, family, and to have my sweetheart Jordy. I love all of you!!

The twins have arrived!!

Jenny and James had their twins on Tuesday, April 22nd. Cole weighed 6lb. 10oz. and Jake weighed 6ib. 7oz. They are both healthy and gorgeous (as you can tell from the pictures below). Jenny is doing awesome and is such an AMAZING mommy! Jenny and James are such naturals and are the most loving parents. Caden is such a great big brother and all he wants to do is hold his babies. The Bonham's are a family of 5!! So exciting!! I love you guys!!

Birthday Surprise!

Jenny was so cute and surprised me and Aly on Friday night and took us to get pedicures at Sanctuary (my very favorite place) and then we went to the fabulous Olive Garden and got our favorite soup, salad, and breadsticks. It was such a fun night! Jenny is going to be having her babies soon and wanted to celebrate before they come. Sooooo thoughtful! She really is the most giving, unselfish person I know. Aly and I are so lucky to have such a great friend!

American Idol Strike!!!

I am so bummed that my boy Michael Johns was voted off American Idol last night!!! What was America thinking!!?? I thought for sure that he would at least be in the top three. The only good thing that could come from this is he can now get stared on making his album and me listening to it. I guess I will start rooting for my second favorite and that is David Archuleta. I also like David Cook but I think he has too much attitude and as Simon Cowell says he is pompous.

It was Lou's B-Day on April 4th and we celebrated on Saturday night. We wen't to Epic for dinner. It was so delicious! Epic is located in Fort Union and you have got to try it. Suzy brought some fantastic chocloate covered strawberry's (thanks to Mitzi) and we set them on the table while we ate our dinner. Our waiter came over to us and told us that he has had a few requests for strawberry's and it's was our fault. It was pretty funny. After dinner the girls went to Liquid Joe's to see the Spazzmatics. I lost my license skiing six weeks ago and couldn't go. I was so bummed because I was hoping to see Sophia come out and see Lou showing off her moves. Ha ha!!
